Since 2016 Web Summit has been held in Lisbon. It is one of the biggest tech conferences in the world and brings together startups, investors, tech enthusiasts, governments, and a whole bunch of people.
For the 6th year in a row, Startup Portugal is the main representative of the country during the event. Our goal for the 4 days of the event is to get people to Sign up for Portugal.
After a pandemic year where everything was done online, for the 2021 Sign up for Portugal campaign, we decided to keep the digital lingo. Click, swipe, unmute, and follow – it doesn’t matter how you do it; the important thing is to Sign up for Portugal.

Web Summit 2021 received 40.000 people from around the world, and the Startup Portugal stand was an important meeting point. Being the country's representative, we held important talks and announcements and received a lot of people interested in Portugal.
